Acoustic Leak Alert: Follow the Sound

We have equipped Tigris K5/M5 with all kinds of smart solutions, including Acoustic Leak Alert. While performing a pressure test with air, an unpressed Tigris K5/M5 press fitting will be heard loud and clear. Thanks to the whistle sound of 80 decibels, you'll find the unpressed fitting very easily. Even if there's a lot of noise around you.

MultiJaw: No New Tools Required

Another advantage during installation: you press a Tigris K5/M5 fitting with the five most common press profiles. So do you already have a pressing tool with an Up, H, U, B or TH press jaw? Thanks to MultiJaw you don't have to buy new tools to enjoy the benefits of Tigris K5/M5!

OptiFlow: Improved Flow

Because of OptiFlow, the flow of Tigris K5/M5 is up to 50% greater than that of a regular fitting. And the better the flow in the pipe, the less pressure loss, heat loss and the chance of legionella contamination. Win, win, win!

Try it for yourself!

Would you like to test all those benefits yourself? You can!

Pressure Testing with Tigris K5/M5

How do you pressure test with air?

A pressure test with air, using an air compressor, works slightly differently than a test with water. But it is certainly no more difficult! Watch the video and discover how to test with air.

Pressure testing with water: How it's done

Do you prefer pressure testing with water? Of course that is also possible with Tigris K5/M5. The video shows how to best perform your pressure test with water.

Pressing with Air: The Advantages

“It is safer and more hygienic to have no water in the installation. Why? Well, to prevent legionella contamination for one. In addition, it saves time and money, because you do not have to rinse weekly. All these advantages add up, which is why Dutch installers prefer air pressure tests." - Eric van der Blom, sanitary specialist at Techniek Nederland.
