Wavin UFH Pipes and Flooring Systems

Wavin Underfloor heating offers two pipe material options (polybutylene and metal plastic) for use with different flooring systems, staples, staple & rail, system plates and low build. For more info see system information below.

System plates

System Plates are for general use, suiting both liquid and conventional screeds. The sheets are laid over insulation and the heating pipe is pushed into the clips within them. This helps ensure regular pipe spacing.

Staple & Rail System

You can add 1 metre track rail to the staple system for additional security at installation stage particularly if you are using a traditional sand/cement screed.

Staple System

In this system the heating pipe is stapled to insulation prior to screeding, which offers total flexibility of heating pipe layout. This system is particularly useful for irregular areas.

UFH Pipe – Fexius Polybutylene

With a 100-year guarantee for UFH applications this pipe has superior flexibility even at low temperatures for easy forming of bends at end returns and leading to the manifold – with a maximum circuit loop of 120m.

UFH Pipe - Tigris: Multilayer Alu-PERT

The major benefit of this metal-plastic pipe is that it bends easily and retains its shape. Lightweight and resilient, it has a maximum circuit loop 100m.

Manifolds, Controls and Thermostats
