Recycore technology

Our Recycore Technology in drain and soil pipes uses over 50% recycled PVC whilst ensuring that products have at least the same proven and excellent performance characteristics as those made with virgin materials. Find out more

We are active members of a number of industry bodies that are working towards sustainability in the plastics industry. We are pleased to partner with the British Plastics Federation in their Operation Clean Sweep Initiative to achieve zero pellet, flake and powder loss. Find out more

Hepworth Clay - whole life value

Sustainability is at the heart of Hepworth clay from the quarrying and transportation of the completely natural raw material to the energy efficiency, installation, product life expectancy and management of in process production scraps. Find out more

Renewable electricity

At Wavin UK, we have used renewable energy from specialist supplier, Ørsted, since April 2019, to supply natural gas and 100% renewable electricity energy across our four UK sites. A significant reduction of our CO2 emissions by 13,842 tonnes a year!
