A. MYPORTAL WAVIN ACCOUNTS
In order to be able to login to my Wavin account, where you can obtain personalized services, such as personal ranges and/or price lists, Wavin stores your username (e-mail address), password, gender, surname, last name and company name. We are allowed to process this data on the basis of article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, since it is necessary to secure the access to our Website.
You are required to provide personal data for this purpose. If you do not provide personal data for this purpose, we are not able to provide you with access to your account or provide information with respect to price lists.
B. CONTACT FORMS
In order to be able to answer questions or comments via contact forms, we can ask for your email address and optional your name and company name. We are allowed to process this data on the basis of article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, since this information is necessary to answer your question. You are required to provide personal data for this purpose. If you do not provide personal data for this purpose, we might not be able to contact you and answer your question.
In order to be able to send newsletters to Wavin newsletter recipients, we ask for your e-mail address and optional your name, initials and gender and additional information like company name or a functional classification to be able to send you the right content. If you receive our newsletters, we may use your online clicking behaviour to personalize our newsletter and Website for you. We are allowed to process this data based on your consent. You are at any time allowed to withdraw your consent. If you do not provide personal data for this purpose, we will not provide you with a newsletter.
D. ONLINE CAMPAIGNS
To motivate and stay connected to our customers and potential customers, Wavin launches campaigns frequently. Besides newsletter subscription information, we can ask for additional information like addresses, phone numbers or product usage, to provide more relevant content and messages to our visitors and users for price matching and other purposes. Further information is provided per campaign. We are allowed to process this data based on your consent. You are at any time allowed to withdraw your consent. If you do not provide personal data for this purpose, we will not provide you with relevant content and messages.
E. E-MAIL MARKETING
We may collect your e-mail address and optional your name, initials, gender and additional information like company name or a functional classification, in order to send you commercial e-mails. We are generally allowed to process this data based on your consent. You are at any time allowed to withdraw your consent. However, if you provided your contact details intentionally for the purpose of receiving commercial e-mails from us or if you are an existing customer (someone to whom a product or service is sold by Wavin and whose contact details are acquired in the context of this sale) and the e-mail concerns similar services or products, we are able to process your personal data without your consent and based on article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, since this information is necessary in order to conduct our business activities. F. SOCIAL MEDIA
Via social media we bring our content to our target audiences to be able to stay engaged with Wavin in the environments that our target audiences are most active on. We can store engagement moments and behaviour like replies on our content or sent messages to our social media inboxes. Information about social media behaviour can be connected to data about Website behaviour and based on such information we can personalize your experience on our Website.
