Speed and cost efficiency for the Qatar Double Tree Hilton
The new fleet of Hilton Double Tree hotels use new strategic building and refurbishment models. While fiercely maintaining the brand reputation for luxury and excellence, the Doubletree hotels are designed for rapid and cost-effective build – with sustainability a core value.
Hilton describes its Double Tree concept as “refreshingly simple and efficient”, thanks to the fact that it's more affordable to build and operate than hotels in the upscale category. The typical development time for a Double Tree property is half the industry average.
When Hilton refurbished this Qatari hotel as part of its Double Tree fleet, they contracted the ERGA Group of Architects to manage the hotel transformation over fourteen floors.
Although they originally planned to use STABI composite PPR pipes for all hot and cold requirements, local Wavin supplier AMT was keen to introduce them to the innovative new range of Basalt Fiber Plus pipes.
