Subic Water successfully implemented a pioneering trenchless solution by installing Wavin Compact Pipe to become a business case model of trenchless pipe rehabilitation in the Philippines
In summer of 2014, a pioneering trenchless solution was approved and implemented by Subic Water to rehabilitate a 7-km long sewer line inside the SBMA, near the bay area. Wavin Compact Pipe was installed inside a badly depreciated host pipe and has been a business case model of trenchless pipe rehabilitation in the Philippines.
The project was made successful with the cooperation of stakeholders Subic Water, Pfeiffer, Moldex, and Wavin.
To maximize the opportunity of this milestone project, a seminar was also held in Subic during this time, to share with interested designers, consultants, and project owners, the advantages of using Wavin Compact Pipes in this kind of rehabilitation environments. The guests were taken to the job-site for an actual frontline experience of this special installation of the Wavin Compact Pipe.
