The Garastor unit is a non-mechanical means of managing stormwater discharge from attenuation tanks for single dwellings. It eliminates the need for costly or large structures.
The Garastor control unit manages discharge from small domestic attenuation devices such as AquaCell. The attenuation units should be no greater than one unit deep with a discharge value of up to 1.4 l/s.
Water flow
Storm or surface water flows into the unit via 110mm pipe. If the flow is moderate, the water is stored in the chamber before being slowly released. If the flow is heavy, the water is diverted from the chamber into an attenuation unit for temporary storage and then released under controlled conditions.
