Hepworth Clay longstanding employees celebrate 120 years of service

Hepworth Clay has been celebrating the loyalty and dedication of five longstanding members of the team, who have collectively served the company for 210 years.

The longest serving member, Dave Jenkinson, Process Improvement Engineer, marks 50 years of service at Hepworth Clay, after spending a majority of his career at the company’s Hazlehead site.

In addition, Tony Turton, Clayware Operations Manager; Ed Orme, Forest Works Manufacturing Manager; Andrew Brown, Maintenance Engineer at Hazlehead; and Gary Williamson, Maintenance Engineer at Forest Works , have all completed 40 years of service each at Hepworth Clay.
It makes me proud to see that these five gentlemen have loyally contributed to Hepworth Clay for several decades. Longstanding employees are integral to any business as they can pass on so much tried and tested knowledge and experience to newer members of the team.
Mike Shaw , Head of Marketing
The longstanding employees were personally thanked and presented with gifts by Paul MacLaurin, Manufacturing Director at Wavin, and Mike Shaw, Head of Marketing at Wavin UK & Ireland, in celebratory events held at Hepworth Clay’s Hazlehead and Forest Works sites.
With their talent and skills, Dave, Tony, Ed, Andy and Gary have all been instrumental in making Hepworth Clay what it is today. I am grateful to them for their hard work and sheer dedication.
Paul MacLaurin , Manufacturing Director
While Dave, Tony and Ed are retiring, Andrew and Gary will continue to work with Hepworth Clay. We wish them all the best!
