New soil bends added to Wavin’s growing OSMA range

The UK’s leading manufacturers of plumbing, rainwater and drainage systems, Wavin, has extended its range of OSMA Soil & Vent Systems with the introduction of six new soil bends.

The new products, introduced as part of a programme of expansion to the OSMA range, will see the launch of three new 110mm spigot bends and three new swept bends – to further enhance the system’s versatility by offering solvent free joints and ease of installation where space is restricted.

OSMA Soil will now include the new short tight radius spigot bends, useful when installing soil in tight situations and double socket bends for those plumbers who prefer not to make solvent weld joints. To ensure the fittings can be installed internally and externally, both types of PVC-U bends are available in a range of standard colours – grey, black and white.

“As the leading brand in above ground plastics, we are continually seeking ways to enhance our products and improve the choice we offer to plumbers,” said Steven Skeldon, Wavin Product Manager, Above Ground Plastics. The improved range will not only offer plumbers more choice for solvent free joints, it will also make it easier to install Osma products where space is restricted.

An industry benchmark for excellence and innovation, the OSMA range offers integrated solutions to give specifiers and installers complete confidence in its compatibility and performance capabilities. And as all OSMA Soil pipes are manufactured using Wavin’s Recycore technology – using at least 50% recycled PVC-U content – customers can also meet increasingly demanding environmental commitments.

The expansion of the OSMA range will not only meet the growing demands of the construction industry, it will ensure Wavin continues to lead the way in product innovations, system compatibility and technical support – helping the OSMA brand to remain the leading name in plastic drainage and rainwater systems.
