Water mains are the backbone for distribution of drinking water from provider to consumer. Wavin offers safe and reliable PE and PVC systems for different operating conditions and installation methods including trenchless technologies.
PE 100 Standard
Our PE 100 Standard solid-wall pipes comply with all relevant European quality standards and are successfully applied for decades for all kind of applications.
PE 100 Double Layer
Wavin’s PE 100 Double Layer pipes are designed for laying in a standard open-trench on a sand bed. You can connect pipes easily using any standard PE fusion method.
Use Wavin’s TSDOQ range when you seek maximum safety, specifically for open installations without a sand bed or trenchless methods like pipe bursting, ploughing and horizontal drilling. This three-layer PE 100-RC pipe system exceeds PAS 1075 specification quality.
Close-fit Compact Pipe
Choose Wavin’s Compact Pipe when digging up and replacing a defective drinking water system is too disruptive and/or expensive and flow capacity has to be maintained.
Wavin offers a full range of PVC-U and PVC-O pressure pipes (diameters ranging from 50 to 630 mm) in various pressure classes, for use in drinking water systems. All the pipes, with their respective fittings, are easy to install and durable.
Neofit is especially suited for lining potable water service pipelines of various materials such as lead, steel and copper, that still have enough structural capability to resist the inside pressure.
Fittings for PE pipes
PE pipes can be joined by means of butt-fusion, involving the fusion together of two pipe ends in a specialist machine. In addition, Wavin offers different series of fittings, ranging from GF Wavin PE fittings for electro-fusion and butt-fusion to PP compression fittings and ancillary components.
