Nordic Product Manager Foul Water and Water&Gas

As a Product Manager Foul Water and Water&Gas, you become a part of an exciting department with a large interface on all Wavin sites in the Nordics (Sweden, Norway and Finland). You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Nordic Product Portfolio Strategy and development of the roadmap for the product areas Foul Water and Water&Gas. You will work in very close cooperation with the commercial business unit and the European Product Management team, as well as working in close corporation with the Nordic Product Manager for Storm Water Solutions to improve Wavin’s solutions for buried pipe systems.

Your area of responsibility will be to:

  • Facilitate and accelerate profitable and sustainable market growth
  • Develop and implement the Nordic Product Portfolio strategy and roadmap for the product areas Foul Water and Water&Gas
  • Maintain healthy product portfolio, where you will manage margins, segmentation, and positioning
  • Develop products and services based on trends and customer needs
  • Build and share market insights and competitor analyses
  • Ensure the right balance between quality and cost/benefit
  • Produce commercial and technical material for new products

Our new Product Manager will report to the Nordic Marketing Manager.

Your Profile

The right candidate has a bachelor or master’s degree in engineering and a high level of commercial understanding and flair. Alternatively, you have a commercial educational background combined with technical experience from the industry – preferable from a similar position Nordic or global company. It is important that you have knowledge from working with buried pipe systems, and that you are able to acquire products and market trends within the product area to be implemented in the Product Portfolio strategy. It is an advantage if you have experience with drinking or foul water business either from utility, planning or designing – alternatively, from a producer of similar products. 

As you will be working with a wide group of colleagues and from different cultures it is important for you to have demonstrated strong communication skills and coping with cultural differences in previous jobs. Furthermore, we expect you to be fluent in professional English language in speech as well as writing, as well as we expect you to be fluent in at least one Scandinavian language. The right candidate has a strategic mindset and can create awareness and understanding of the products and market trends and implement it into a product portfolio strategy.
